Hi, my name is Genny, I'm 40 years old and I've been living in Switzerland since 2014 with my husband. I live in the canton of Ticino where Italian is still spoken, so we have already expatriated, but without changing the language. We have come to Scotland 3 times already for pleasure and this autumn we are coming again but with the intention of trying to look for work and then moving. This site was suggested to us by the person who rents the house to us in October. We explained our intentions to him and asked him to put us in contact with people who are expatriates in Scotland and who speak Italian, so that we can meet them and get information and explanations. She is working on it but in the meantime she found out about this site and so... Here I am!! My husband is an electromechanic of forklifts and forklifts, I have always worked in the beauty/care sector and recently in the hotel sector. We like tranquility and also adventure but we would like to take this step with more solid foundations than the first move abroad, where we were closer to home and younger!!!
