My expat journey

Bali, Indonesia
I was only in Bali on several trips, as it was a stopover between Spain and Australia during the time I studied my Master of Biotechnology. I repeated stays several times that year.
Tourist
A fascinating island with a variety of landscapes and a culture that attracts just hearing about it. I sincerely believe that nothing I say will do justice to what they have and enjoy there.
I have never been more thirsty and hot in my entire life.

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
I went to Brisbane, after finishing my studies as an Agricultural Engineer, to study a Master of Biptchnology and to be able to specialize in the management of companies and biotechnological research and development projects.
I went to Brisbane to study my Master of Biotechnology, which took place between February 2001 and August 2002 with internships in a Spanish company in the sector during the last semester of the Master, in 2002.
Australia is a fascinating country and I wanted to know more. Not in vain is it as big as a continent so I could only visit the east coast, from Cairns to Sydney. As for Brisbane, it is a very quiet city with a fantastic climate that reminded me of my Mediterranean climate. The nature is impressive and the organization of its educational system, particularly the University of Queensland, is magnificent. Among the things that surprised me the most are seeing that many Australians have the habit of going outside barefoot, even when they are in class. It also caught my attention to see couples doing their photo shoot in the center of the university campus on weekends because they did not have other buildings of the style of English universities.

D茅partement de la Haute-Savoie, Rh么ne-Alpes, France
I spent 15 days on an exchange with a French family in the idyllic town of Bo毛ge. A stay in which I had my first contact with that family and where I was representing mine, as the firstborn. There I learned the customs of French high society as well as greatly improving my level of French.
Living with the entire French family, three generations together learning their customs, a little windsurfing and visiting Geneva for just one day.
It is an idyllic place with a breathtaking landscape and immense tranquility. It is ideal to get lost in, although, being next to Geneva, you can also enjoy all the charms of this city. The kitchen is wonderful (especially this family's)
I gained a lot of weight during those days, hehe

Denver, Colorado, USA
I was on an exchange with the son of an American family at a military hospital within a military complex in Denver to learn the English I had lost since I was in Washington.
Learning English while living with an American family whose father was an optometrist in the military hospital. The parents were still working so their son and I lived on the base, not being able to go outside without authorization. I learned a lot of English through watching TV, above all, and interacting with the friends of the son of the exchange family.
I couldn't move much, except for a trip to a very beautiful lake, so I don't have any special experiences. Of course, I became an expert bowler.
I couldn't leave the military base because the parents were working and then the father was on sick leave for almost the entire month.

Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C., USA
When I lived there I was just a little boy, barely three years old, learning about life, among other things, how to speak. Living there for almost a year allowed me to learn English and Spanish at the same time and contributed decisively to my ability to learn languages 鈥嬧媋nd integrate into other cultures.
I was only three years old, so there I learned to live like a child my age.
The little I remember is all positive. I was only three years old
I don't remember anything negative.
