About
Kudakwashe Kamura Nzuwa was born in 1993 on the 10th day of June in Gweru, Mutapa Clinic. He is the first born of Mr Martin Nzuwa and Mrs Mellin Mukazi. He is a brother to Ngonidzashe, Isabel and Simbarashe.Started to receive his Primary Education (Grade 1) in 2000 at the age of 7 at Nhema Primary School in Shurugwi District. He wrote his Grade 7 in 2006 at the age of 13 at the same school. He was taught by a number of Teachers,among them are Mrs Rukanzakanza, Mrs Dzimiri, Mrs Mavundukure, Mr Mutsinze, Mr Mafuta, Mrs Mutambi and Mr Machiya. Mr Machiya used to call him the Mathematician for his excellence in Mathematics. Kudakwashe Started his Secondary education in 2007at the age of 14 at Svika High School. He was a hard worker, a young man with a vision and was motivated by his desire to be a role model, a source of inspiration to his youngsters. Despite the many challenges his family faced financially, his father made education a number one priority. He wrote his Ordinary Level in 2010 at the age of 17 and passed 7 subjects including the highly regarded Mathematics, English and Integrated Science. He proceeded to Advanced Level at the same school and excelled again in 2012 at the age of 19. In extra curriculum activities, Kudakwashe was a footballer and played for the first team but his football carrier was ruined when he sustained an injury in 2011 while playing in school zonal competitions at Sherekete known as Sheky Dee in Shurugwi District. However, the year 2013 turned out to be a rough one. His parents failed to secure money for college as a result he had to help them raise money for college. He managed to secure a temporary teaching place in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education at Charles Wraith Primary School headed by Mrs Dzoro where he taught for just one term. At Charles Wraith Primary School, due to his interest in soccer, he was given the third team to mun comprising those under the age of 9. He managed to win a Golden Trophy with this team. It was in August that his contract was terminated with the Ministry that he was then employed as a shopkeeper in his rural home. He was a shopkeeper for 6 months. In January 2014, he went on to apply for a Bsc Local Governance Studies Honours Degree at the Midlands State University for February intake in the same year which he secured easily. He started studying at MSU in February 2014 and completed his undergraduate degree in November 2017. As a University requirement, Kudakwashe went for Work Related Learning/Attachment in 2016. He worked as an Intern Administrative Officer in the office of the District Administrator in Gokwe North District an office which is responsible for monitoring, supervising and advising various stakeholders operating in the district. He worked under the mentor-ship of Fortune Mupungu, Mr Chinhara and Patricia Mpofu. He graduated at the Midlands State University on 2 December 2017.
