Hello! My name is Lisa and I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, USA. I'm divorced. I've raised 3 wonderful children, 2 now on their own with spouses and excellent careers. The 3rd still in school and has the same goals as her sister and brother. For the past 25+ yrs I've worked in the rat race as an Accountant. I loved my career until the nasty Greed of the companies I've worked for became inhumane and too demanding. I need a change, maybe on to consulting companies now. I've seen it all! Stress has no room in anybody's life and serves no purpose.... Moving on now... All of my life my "Go To Vacation" was always to a destination that had sand, beach, an ocean and beautiful sunrises and sunsets! My local beach place, a 2 hour drive, is the Wildwoods at the Jersey Shore. 15 yrs ago I fell in love with Roatan, Honduras while on a Western Caribbean Cruise. I never thought I'd consider becoming an expat until 2 yrs ago when it finally HIT me .... you only live once and you have to be Happy, Always be Positive and Live every day as if it was your last! Never take life for granted, never lose your sense of wonder, get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger (metaphor), never fear the mountains in the distance, always give fate a fighting chance and when you have the choice to to sit it out or to dance, I choose to Dance! Just as LeeAnn Womack sings in her beautiful song "I hope you Dance" This is exactly how I feel at this point in my life! Tropical beach Life, flip flops all year round, learning and loving a new culture. Laugh and smile always! I'm looking forward to meeting some fantastic new people, building new genuine friendships. I hope to meet YOU soon in Roatan, West End Area.
