Hello, My name is Alex, I am 35 years old. I plan to come to Reunion Island next month to live there. I plan to arrive around mid-October, alone at first, then my partner Yui (who is 40 years old, is Japanese, does not speak French and has a basic level of English) will join me once everything is in place....I hope in November or December. My plan is therefore to arrive in Saint Denis, I am thinking of renting through Airbnb for the first week. Once there I plan to look for an apartment or small house to rent (I think for around 6 months and in the dark if possible). I'm not sure if for the future, Saint Denis or Saint Pierre would be best. Once I have an address, I want to buy a used car (I think a station wagon type) in which I can sleep if I go away for the weekend. Then, I would look for work as a caregiver. I started nursing studies which I had to put on hold. I passed my first year and therefore have AS equivalence. Subsequently, my plan is to join the IFSI of Saint Denis or Saint Pierre to complete my training. I am currently staying with a friend in Thailand and returning from 6 months in Japan. If you have any advice for my project, I would be very interested. If anyone also knows if there is a Japanese community (even a small one) in Saint Denis or Saint Pierre, that might interest me.
