I studied as a translator and parliamentary interpreter and foreign correspondent at the S.S.I.t. of Florence. I worked for 5 years as a foreign commercial correspondent for the French and African markets in French and English for Industrie Natuzzi SpA of Santeramo in Colle, the largest exporter of leather sofas in the world. Immediately afterwards I worked for 20 years as an administrative and secretarial manager for a related company Ilva SpA in Taranto, now Arcelor Mittal.
