I was a part of cutural exchange program called Au Pair in America.
After Split, San Diego is my favorite city. I spent a year living in San Diego, California. It is right at the ocean, plenty of beaches around, it is close to the mountains, lots of hiking trails and it has the best sunsets. People are laid back, food is awesome, plenty of mexican food since Mexico (Tijuana) is very close, maybe an hour drive.
San Diego is known as America's Finest City for a reason.
Red Bank, New Jersey, USA
Red Bank, New Jersey was alright. It is very close to the beach and some beach towns like Sea Bright or Atlantic Highlands where you can take the ferry and find yourself in New York City in approx. 45 minutes.

I was born and raised in Livno, Bosnia & Herzegovina before I moved to Croatia for college, at the age of 18. First I moved to capital, Zagreb and then to Split.
Livno is a cute small town that offers great food, Livno cheese is worldwide famous, burek and cevapi some of the most delicious bosnian cuisine. People are very friendly, Bosnia is quite famous for its hospitality.
