I lived in the Canary Islands for 4 months and I loved it except for the fact that they are islands. Now I would like to live in Valencia for a while, because I think I will like it a lot.

Low prices, better climate than in Italy all year round, low taxes, easy to learn official language, city by the sea, full of green areas of nature, small city that can be explored on foot, European city.
High humidity in winter, poor transport and healthcare, there are not many large international companies, less entertainment than life in Barcelona or Madrid, fewer air connections with the world.
