Hi everyone, I come from the south of France and I am going to move to the USA by mid-January after being hired in F&B management. I have never been to the USA, and I hope that thanks to the community and good souls I will be able to benefit from lots of useful advice to integrate quickly and avoid unpleasant surprises and therefore unnecessary stress! I speak English but I know American is noticeably different, so any advice on how to start improving my ear will be helpful! I carefully considered my decision to move to the USA (Charleston, SC) so it is a very long-term installation. I have a very rich background (although I am still very young lol) I have degrees in hotel and catering, management, and law.
