About

Canadian expat living in Hanoi, Vietnam for 14 years. I previously lived in Taipei for 3 years, but got kicked out...that's a story for later (!) so I moved to Hanoi. I am a self-employed English and French tutor, and I am one of three partners in a small tour company, specializing in taking guests to north Vietnam. I am quite active in the cat and dog rescue scene in Hanoi, working with a fantastic rescue and re-homing organisation called Hanoi Pet Adoption. Likes: honest, genuine people, riding my bicycle along the back roads of Hanoi, all kinds of ice cream (even...especially! durian flavor!), hanging out with friends, drinking red wine, laying on a beach, cooking... Dislikes: fake, pretentious people, crazy drivers that make roads dangerous, animal abusers, any ind of exotic or domestic animal meat, loud repetitive noises (definitely includes techno!), Pinot Noir (go figure!)...
Interests: travel, cycling, cooking, animal rescue and care, books

Occupation

I am Self-employed.
