I'm coming from the USA. Retired from healthcare management. Lectured and published in my professional field. I had a newspaper column that addressed events of the day. Decorated Viet Vet w/2 tours: Combat Infantry. I visited VN all through March of 2011. Visited the places where I participated in combat operations as a small unit commander. Visited the village where I was wounded in a fire fight and met with its village chief and family. Organized meetings w/former "enemies", North and South. Spent time @ orphanages that treat and house Agent Orange affected people. Managed to acquire a badly needed ECG machine for use at the Tram Clinic in Duc Pho. Intend to set up residence in Tam Ky within this year. That is where I will share my life with a lovely Vietnamese woman with whom I've already spent much time in travel with her. She teaches at a local university.
