About

My husband & I have been working expats for nearly 30 years, interrupted with occasional stays back in the States. On our 7th country currently. I have dual citizenship UK/US. Now its time to go it alone and live as newly minted retirees. France is our 1st choice, followed by Spain. Looking for hints, help, hilarity and hope from this group. All input welcome.
Interests: photography, skiing, cooking, my French dog, hiking, bicycling, gardening, travel,

Working on an ancient books project. Sadly it ended after the woman who started it passed away.
I loved living in Arequipa. It has a beautiful Old City; I walked my dog on an old volcano, lots of expats who came through as tourists stayed as entrepreneurs.
Poverty is a reality in Peru no matter where you live. I personally never experienced any crime, but for expat women it is not advised to travel alone in a taxi.
