About

My name is Oph茅lie, yes like the singer Oph茅lie Winter. If you were going to play a joke on me, know that I have experienced them all! I live in the depths of the southwest but I want to return to the United States because that's where I feel at home. In fact, I lived there for a year during my au pair experience. Although I loved Washington state, we're not going to lie, it's still not worth the California sun, right? I have a DEUG in psychology, and I am preparing to graduate with a degree in Education Sciences. I have been in contact with children for a long time since I did an internship in primary school during my schooling, volunteered on school trips, babysat and currently I am a primary school worker. Teaching is therefore a very familiar environment and the one in which I thrive the most. I am therefore looking for an opportunity in teaching, to contribute to the learning of your students, to be part of your teams and I hope to establish links for several years.

I would like to find a job in line with my educational background and my teaching experiences for an indefinite period. I plan to live in Los Angeles and build my professional career there.
I am versatile but I want to be in contact with children, participate in their learning process, teach them French.
Cultural diversity because there are a lot of different nationalities The history of this city (I really like the 19th century) The beauty of the landscapes, whether north of Los Angeles, downtown, parks, the Ocean The weather Very present cultural life (museums, exhibitions, events) The food (American, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian...) Non-judgment (everyone wears what they want, has their own tastes, their own personality...) American culture and its traditions (Thanksgiving)
The freeway (which helped develop my patience...)

I was an au pair for a year, taking care of two children aged 3 and 7. My tasks consisted of watching over them, taking them to their activities, doing homework, teaching French. It was a very good experience on a human level, but also very enriching because I learned a lot about American culture. Then I enormously improved my English, which today allows me to hold various conversations on trivial or more complex subjects.
