HI! I am from Turin, but I left my hometown following my husband for work in Florence, immediately after our honeymoon. I am one of those people who left everything and everyone for love but I have never regretted it! Since then, the year 2000, I have never stopped moving. I have lived in Paris, Lagos (Nigeria), Locarno (Italian Switzerland), Dubai, Johannesburg, Locarno again and now I am here in Antwerp, for almost two years. I really struggle with this Flemish language which I understand when written, but which I still don't understand much when spoken nor can I speak well enough. I attend a very mild course of only 1.5 hours a week and I know that my difficulties largely depend on this. In April 2019 I opened my mini yoga studio, in the house where I live in Brasschaat. I'm not in Brasschaat because I'm filthy rich, alas, but because we were lucky enough that the first company that hired my husband two and a half years ago offered international school to our two children aged 17 and 12 and the school is very close. Wherever we have lived we have followed the criterion of choosing a house based on the location of the school. Now everything is different and due to the pandemic that work is finished and we have implemented a "plan B" but for the moment we are still in Antwerp. Due to the Covid limitations I am successfully offering splendid lessons via zoom to my remaining available students and to the American women's club of Antwerp (AWCA), for the latter group I did it for free. I have learned that it is possible to teach well even in this way, even if it will never be as beautiful and engaging as a lesson held in the presence of the teacher in flesh and blood and all the vibrations he can emanate live! I am in love with what I do and I have finally found the courage to admit that I do it well! I just need to find more people to attend my courses, which can be in both English and Italian.
