My wife and I have visited CR multiple times and took the plunge buying a condo in Escazu 2 years ago. It is rented but we plan to move in on March 15th. We see CR as a great base to travel the world in our retirement still be close to visit a very large immediate family living primarily CA, AZ & Florida (who will visit us too). We also wish to learn Spanish and meet other ex-pats like us.
