I am from The Pacific Northwest, I live with my husband on a historic wooden boat that was originally the headquarters launch for the British Columbia Ministry of Forests. "The B.C. Forester" is 100 years old. We cruise the waters in and around the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands as well as the region known as Puget Sound. I have a 200-ton USCG Captain's license. Currently I am a full-time writer, published author and part time virtual paralegal/legal assistant. I teach ESL/EFL online when we travel. We're both avid divers and sailors, (we own a 40' ketch named Sugaree and two smaller Lightning racing boats). My husband and are looking forward to living as expats within the next few years, preferably in SE Asia.

Interests: sailing, oil painting, Writing, cooking and kayaking, painting, printmaking, diving, travel, home-brewing
