My expat journey

N?A, Mauritius

London, England, England
I was born in England until the age of ten when my family moved to Greece, which made my bilingual. I returned after my BA in Fine Arts to London to study at Goldsmiths College towards my PGDip and then gained a MA in Graphic Fine Arts at Kent University.
The last ten years I have been travelling and living in many countries, I have been working as a teacher in many locations around the world and the last two years working in China, also working on my own personal art. Before that I was a freelance Art Director, designer & photographer working in London for around twenty years.
I loved my work and I love the countryside. Also the galleries, music etc...
The weather.

Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
Exploring the culture and surrounding areas, teaching english, working on my personal art work including sculpture.

The smiles of the people
too many snakes and local women doing mens jobs.

Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, Morocco
Photography.
I was a tourist but as I am a photographer I was looking to photograph the colours and the people!
The colours and the people
It was difficult to photograph people and felt a little
uncomfortable by the men, as a woman. But that
was not a general rule, I met some beautiful, friendly
people.

Loved it, poverty was not nice but opened my eyes. Beautiful Country and people.
poverty was sometimes difficult to see.

Thessalon铆ki, Central Macedonia, Greece
My parents and the family moved there as it is my Fathers homeland. I finished my schooling there and my BA in Fine Arts, Graphic design before moving back to England.
I was a student and also a freelance designer during my BA studies.
The people and the weather
I'm not sure, maybe the lack of work opportunity at the moment.
