I have lived most of my adult in Northern California, where i raised two sons and was an RN for over 25 years. After retiring in 2018, i moved to the midwest to be near family members. I live in a very small town (less than 1000 population), but have come to realize that i am not suited to the lifestyle here. I am relatively healthy and would be more active but for the constraints of my current environment. I have always wanted to travel and feel that this is my time to do just that. I enjoy learning and am not afraid to go beyond my comfort zone of familiar people, places and customs. I feel that a country like Ecuador has the right level of culture, quality of living and affordability to fit my lifestyle needs. In any event, i am ready to find out if i am correct in that belief and plan to make 2021 the year to find out.
