Eurasian, with a Filipina mother and Swiss father, I have a large family in the Philippines with whom I am very close. In Switzerland I no longer have any ties, apart from my friends. Why Indonesia then? No Cartesian reason other than a real crush on their culture, their traditions and this feeling of "d茅j脿 vu" the first time I set foot there... and yet... my goal was just to visit the Green Village and the Green School in Bali to discover the bamboo bungalows and nothing else, because I tend to escape the places where the tourists are teeming... I didn't understand anything.... But I felt like "at home"... and so much aligned with who I am... A beautiful slap in the face of life that I still can't explain. All I know is that I will be dropping off my suitcases there very soon with my son (I am a single mother).
