My expat journey

I did an international cooperation internship with Development and Peace in Andohatapenaka, in the slums. We were 7 young people who were well motivated to get involved in the community life of the neighborhood.
I am a specialized educator, I work in a specialized school for young people who live with a physical disability.
I really liked the people (their courage, their resilience, their shy smiles...), the music, the dance, the energy, the culture in general. Madagascar is a colorful island that is worth the detour (and nasty detour from Qc...)
The lack of security, poverty, begging, administrative slowness... but hey that comes with it... it's Africa!
