I have been in Cape Verde for 12 years. It's a very nice country. The people there are very peaceful, they appreciate foreigners. It is an ideal country for those who want to retire there. There is a law which grants numerous advantages, including tax ones. I got there with my husband. Unfortunately he died more than 3 years ago and I am left alone in this big house. Superb, on the edge of a beach but sometimes the solitude weighs heavily on me.
