I live in the Florida Keys. I am a Veteran on disability and frankly, although I love it here the expense is killing me. I feel like I am being taxed to death. Property Taxes, Gas Taxes, Sales Taxes. Don't get me started on insurance. I know there are plenty of cheaper options in the US, however, I have to live where it is warm.

I'm seriously considering moving to Belize for its various benefits. Has anyone here done so already? If you have any advice for the newbie there, please post your thoughts.
