My expat journey

ProvÃncia de Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Founded my first official business; a Business Consulting firm focused on startups and growing small and medium businesses- FOCUS Consultoria.
Had a chance to, for the first time, be close to my mother's side of the family, the only family I had had close in ten years.
Overworked, Inicially Underpaid, and Overpassionate about my clients, who ranged from grain brokers, to logistics, educarion, tourism, fauna&flora, hospitality, among others.
I met the most amazing woman I'd ever come accross, and she agreed to marry me.
Had enough of opportunities to bankroll my next movek this time, to Barcelona, where my wife was from.
Fantastic Foreign groups, open to anyone and composed of amazing people.
Closed local culture. You're either in or out.

Tampa, Florida, USA
? University student loving by myself for the first time. Moved there for it's fantastic conglomerate of people from not just all over the US, but the world too.
? Followed with my car detailing operarion, and even flipped some whenever I found a good opportunity.
? Involved with several projects.
? Coursed Entrepreneurship and Business Law at the University of Tampa.
? Lead a team in 2016's Hult Prize on Crowded Urban Areas as CEO. Unfortunately, I was too inexperienced and we ended up not winning. Our failure was on me.
? Vivid city, fantastic people, Great Professors in what was billed as the Harvard of the South'.
? first time having my own car, an intoxicating 2010 BMW 328xi with all the optionals and a gloriously rare manual transmision- it consolidated my passion for the motor car.
? Gorgeous City, fandabiedosie food scene, many opportunities.
? Not much... had to leave to help my family and start my business.

Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Coursed Cambriedge's IGCSE at Deira International High school, International Commerce and Finance at Rochester Institute of Technology (Dubai Campus).
Lived among various communities, giving me first hand access deep into cultures from all over the world, the ability to pick up languages timely, be socially malleable and universally respectful.
Worked in startups and companies of friends and collegues in the capacity of Business Development and Strategic Planning.
Worked extensively as a High-End Auto Detailer by myself, offering my services to neighbors and later on some Used Car Dealerships. Worked briefly managing a farmer's market.
There is no such thing as a limit when it comes to imagination and magnitude.
It showed me people from all over the world are inherently good. The local welcoming is heartwarming, as they opened their home to us and went futher then many to make us feel at home and be properous.

Not many places allow you to study at a highschool with students from over 150 countries and be so exposed to the incredible, nothing else ever impresses you.
Given the country we're talking about, I'll plead the fifth.

Base Aerea de Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil
Middle School and figuring out who I was as a person.
Often bewitched by the local beauty.
Managed to live there at a high point for 'Floripa', with enough development, yet before it out-grew it's capacity and infrastructure- not very fond of 5 hour traffic jams.
Middle School student at Colégio Catarinense. Good school, great people, even better Curriculum.
Beauty of all kinds, and back then at least, peaceful, safe and welcoming.
Honestly, quite difficult to think of a negative point, at least for back then.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Born in Copacabana and lived in Leme during early childhood.
Being a happy child in a beautiful place, surrounded by incredible people.
Natural beauty to make an atheist consider God's existance.
Some of the friendliest locals anywhere on earth, apart of course, from the robbers.
Not safe. At all.
