Great sports opportunities such as marathons or the yearly swim from the island to mainland China every summer.
Nothing to say. But difficult for those who are used to finding a McDonald's or Gucci store on every street. Not much apart from the local brands and shops. But that is not a problem! And the place is developing every year with new supper malls and cinemas.

Great place, great People.
Not to expensive to live there and a lovely place to be.
The Netherlands are flat and quite cold.
If you are looking for worm dry weather, this is not the place to be.
