My expat journey

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Working for the Zoological Society of London in partnership with an NGO based in Ulaanbaatar. Also getting to know a new part of the world and people who live there.
Conservation Biologist
Hard to say at this stage as I've only been here a week. Everything's new so that's generally interesting!
The taste of the water.

Brighton, England
I graduated with a degree in Biological Science then set up an expedition to Madagascar. In the following months a full report was written up and given to all funding bodies that provided grants for the expedition. After that I was volunteering with a small NGO I came across whilst in Madagascar. This work was in London but I was still based in Brighton.
Whilst in Brighton I was a student, a barman and a volunteer conservation biologist
It's where I studied so there is obvious attachment there but it's also where many of my closest friends live. There are many things to like about Brighton.
Council tax and Stag Parties from Croydon!

Hey Sam, Well I'm currently in the position you were in a short while ago. I've just started here, I'm 27 and basically could do with going for a pint or two! A bit of social interaction's always a good thing I reckon. Give me a shout if you're up ... Read More
