You mean where do I come from? I was born in the UK but emigrated to New Zealand 40 years ago. I am a teacher and writer. I am working in Vietnam developing and overseeing English language programmes at s small university. Over the past few years I have travelled and worked in various places, including the Middle East and India.

Starting small company in HCMC by brianpool

Hi I'm looking for any tips, suggestions about setting up a small company in Ho Chi Minh City. I have talked with one local law firm (Viet Luat) and they are basically rip-off merchants. Any ideas?

Thanks 'Wild" - very useful and helpful advice. The point about lawyers- I think I learned the hard way. I was charged 200 000 VND by a 'lawyer' for getting my passport notarized! Read More
