About

Hi everybody! My name is Erja, I'm a Finn, who's spent 15 years of her life abroad, in Africa and in several countries in Europe. Married, one adult son and two (very lively!) grandchildren. I love meeting new people and learning about countries and life elsewhere. I'm a language teacher (English, French) and can speak some other languages, too (Swedish, German, a little Polish and Czech, some Suahili (lived in Tanzania for 8 years. I've done voluntary work all my life and am still doing it, here in Jyv盲skyl盲 helping out in projects with immigrants and with the Finnish Red Cross etc. I love playing golf (have played close to 30 years already) and have done competitive sports all my life, mostly concentrating on golf and bowling nowadays. Nature and taking photos are my inspiration, as well as spending time with my loved ones, husband and son's family with the two "rascals". At the moment I'm looking forward to the coming spring and our golfing holiday (our son is a golf pro teaching abroad some weeks in the spring and autumn). My motto is: everything is possible and there's hope as long as there's life. Let's enjoy these longer days and each other's company, all the best to who ever is reading this!
Interests: photography, etc., travelling, reading, , interior decoration, golf, all sports etc.
