Buying house in UK by Ukbarb

I'd welcome any advice about buying a house in the U.K. My husband has a permanent job with Durham University and we'll be moving in Dec. But we have been told that there is a long waiting period (anywhere between 3 months and 2years!!) ...

My advices about it are: As soon as you arrive to UK: - Register in the electoral registry - Open a bank account - Get a credit card and use it to improve your credit rate I wasted time with Mortgage brokers who seems don't have experience with ... Read More

Hi I would like to know how arr the police in Malaysia corrupt? Trustworthy? Efficient? as foreigners do they treat us the same if we have a problem ? Thanks for your advices

Luckily I haven't had to use the police "services". But all my friends who had to go to the police, said they are useless, and inefficient, basically... But I'm sure there will be some efficient and dedicated police. Read More
