A lot has happened since I first became a member of expat.com. My wife and I bought a nice high rise apartment in Panama City 4 years ago. I loved it but my wife didn't make too many friends and missed her family and grand-daughter back home. She became ill and had to fly back and forth to the U.S. for medical care. U.S. Medicare does not cover you overseas. Sold our Condo after three years for a hefty profit and moved back to Holland, Michigan.
