I am an older mother of two young boys, that got tired of shoveling snow for nine months, and only getting to swim for six weeks, so my husband, boys, and two Great Danes moved to Houston, TX. We have been swimming ever since. However, the school has been a huge disappointment, so if I must homeschool, I might as well love where I live. Plus I would prefer a much richer life for my boys, that does not revolve around, cell phones, texting, and tattoos/piercings. I want them to live life, not waste away behind a desk, trying to keep up with the rat-race. I am a Navy veteran, and I do not have much faith in the American people, as they have become selfish and needy, always trying to get a hand out instead of pulling themselves up by the boot straps and buckling down to help themselves, and/or their children. The USA will fall just as the Mayans and the Romans did, and I do not want my boys fighting for some politicians lost cause!
