Seoul, South Korea

Aug 2008 - Aug 2009

Seoul, South Korea

Middle school English teacher for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (SMOE).
The job was pretty decent and I met some great people.
Seoul is just too much of a big city for me. It took forever to get anywhere outside of my neighborhood (at least 30 minutes) and since I lived in a crappy area, that was a problem.

Changwon, South Korea

Oct 2006 - Oct 2007

Changwon, South Korea

English teacher at an after school language academy (aka a hagwon).
The people I met and a good introduction to living in Korea. It wasn't a huge city, but there was plenty to do.
Not much. The job could have been better, but also could have been MUCH worse.
