Hallo Everyone : I'm really not sure if this is the correct section to query something about BFD VOLUNTEERING : I have met and plan to marry a lady from Germany. We have also visited each other's home cities on Gauteng and southern Bavaria. However, she has wished that I first spend some time on Germany in order for us to get much better acquainted. I agree with this and therefore plan to apply as a BFD helper, as I don't have tertiary qualifications. But my quandary is : do I mention this eventual intention in my application? Will it better my application or ruin it? I was thinking of at least a 12-18 month period and then we could change to our original plan. Does anyone have knowledge or advice on this?
