An outgoing media professional with an equal love of solitude and social life. Born in Cape Town and settling down to life in Accra. The highlight of my day is walking my dogs at dawn and then just sitting, to begin the day quietly before tackling the traffic. A Journalist and Knight Fellow (www.knight.icfj.org) who will lead a project to improve coverage of poverty and development issues in Ghana. Founder of VIA 芒聙聰 Vision in Africa, a media organisation, that has spearheaded innovative international training initiatives. My biggest challenge is that I miss my friends and family. The best thing about Ghana is the people… warm and welcoming and innovative beyond my understanding of the word. A major gripe in Accra is the traffic.
