Hi! My name is Maryse. I am Canadian, more specifically from Quebec. I really like traveling, over the last three years I have visited Asia a lot and I spent 4 months at the beginning of 2012 in India, I loved everything about this splendid country. My profession is Architect and I currently work in an office in Montreal. I liked Bombay and Ahmedabad so much that I am looking at opportunities to find work there. Otherwise, I have already lived for 1 year in California and 6 months in Italy. So in summary, not quite an expat but trying to become one :) and super happy to have found this forum.. :)

Find a job as an architect in India for a foreign or local firm or an NGO...It can be in Bombay, Ahmedabad or in Rajastan (Jaipur, Udaipur...)
Architect, I am currently working on an office tower project in Downtown Montreal for a local firm. I would like to work on projects in India and learn to speak Hindi

Architect
Montreal is a multicultural city, a metropolis that does not live at a frantic pace, the majority of people are open and welcoming. I like being able to go there by bike, my only mode of transport with the bus and the metro when it rains. Parc extension is the Desi neighborhood of Montreal and it's a great place to walk, also Little Italy and Downtown... Three places I love, three completely different atmospheres, one city.
Winter in Montreal with the slutch and the extreme cold...
