I am coming from NC, USA and I am a retired person who has recently visited Slovakia with relatives and would like more detailed information of small towns where my parents originated from, Kopcany and Unin. I would at some point like to come back for an extended stay close to Bratislava where I have cousins.

I too am interested in the cost of living in Slovakia and recently contacted distant cousins there. I know in the Bratislava area, the gas is about $8.00 US. You can find a flat for $500 - 650/mo. The food I don't know, as many still keep gardens ... Read More
