I am 36 years old and have been married for 12 years (my husband is Portuguese but has lived in France since childhood), without children. We have been thinking about living abroad for 5 years but have been unable to decide on the destination and without daring to take the plunge. 6 months ago, we finally decided on Greece (Pelion). The preparations will take us about a year, during which time we will travel back and forth to Greece to start prospecting and think about what we would like to do there (opening a restaurant appeals to us a lot). The next trip is planned this winter to get an overview of the area at that time. I started learning Greek a month ago, it's hard but I'm hanging in there. All the forums and blogs are very valuable to me in terms of information and impressions, which is why I am registering today.
