Very strange feeling of being imprisoned and helpless - Working on a live building site, endangered by unfinished buildings and gaping, deep holes in the site's (unfinished University Campus)building site. Nowhere, was I allowed as a woman to exercise or even walk anywhere, only driven by the rude, ignorant drivers. First ever, women student's protest happened shortly after I'd left K.S.A.

Call to prayer - Abaya, Hijab and Niqarb and privacy gained by rejecting the western woman's compound and requesting to live on the Arabic one instead. I had some lovely times there and made many lifelong friends.
Heavily confined - not allowed to drive, stupid and ignorant drivers without any manners. Who treated women like insects.

I think in some instances - it's materialism that dictates in life. At least it seems so from a feminist standpoint. Of course if one had a choice love would come first and foremost and money would take a back seat every time. Read More
