We are coming from Sacramento, California, USA. We will retire next year and intend to relocate in Cuenca, Ecuador. We are gay men; have a 26-year old son, who will be moving to Australia for his work and studies; cherish our Lhasa Apso, Carly, who will be joining us in Ecuador; love going to the theater and live music performances; eat out for breakfast daily; have no desire to ever have a car again! We are particularly concerned with the environment and quality of food; we are vegetarians who eat cheese and eggs. We are politically progressive and hope to become involved in volunteer work in Cuenca, perhaps with animals or teaching children.
