About
I come from a small town in the northwest of France and have lived in Germany for almost 50 years, where I studied social pedagogy at the Freiburg Normal School. Although I speak German perfectly, I had a lot of trouble finding work (here, Germans have priority for a vacant position). But I managed to survive until today. My husband is Peruvian, he comes from the coast. We don't have children but we are happy nonetheless. My Peruvian in-laws, I love them very much, but we can't go see them often (it's too expensive). When I got married, I took the Peruvian name, with "de", but now, the French consular authorities in Munich do not recognize my right to bear this name. I don't know what to do. Has anyone had this problem and how did they resolve it?
