I was a trainee on the training ship DENMARK.
trainee
The school was located in Frederikshavn, but as soon as we started sailing I got to cross of a few contries of my list. We starter out by going to Tenerife and continued from there to Rio in Brazil where we stayed for almost three weeks. After Rio we set sails for the Azores and Portgual. On the way we ended up making a surprise stop at Fernando de noronha a beautiful little island, all time romantic destination.
That I didn?t have more time to explore when I was ashore.

I came to Iceland through Nordjobb. After junior college I just wanted to get out and see the world. While I was away in Ghana I got a message about a job opertunity in Iceland. I was really exited to experience the culture that was supposed to be so close to what it is on my own small islands. Icelanders and Faroe islanders call eachother fr忙ndi which means cousin. I came there with the mindset of getting to know these ?cousins? of mine. I spent most of my time with the locals, made many new friends, tried the local food and tried to get around as much as possible.
I was waitressing at this cozy little caf茅 ?kaffihorni冒? aka coffee corner. Even though it was a small place I managed to destroy my shows after just a few weeks, the place was so busy. Most evenings there was a waiting list up to two hours. I loved my coworkers and guests were all travellers as myself and I made alot of friends through my job.
I loved how it was a tiny place in the middle of nowhere and yet so filled with people. Iceland is a big turist attraction, but not in the same way as a turist crowded beach. The locals were very friendly and it was easy to make friends. The nature is amazing, I love being out in nature. My best friend grew up on a farm around 20 min outside of town, we would spend most of hour days off out by the farm, hiking, taking pictures and just enjoying life.
It?s a love/hate relationship you end up having with such a small town so far away from everything. It?s a cozy, nice and at times exciting to know that you can?t just get out of town if you get bored. You learn to take it easy and enjoy the smalltown life, but then you also have days where you feel like you?re sufficating because there is no where to go even if you do go out of town.

Was with a h酶jskolen.dk. We stayed for three months in Ghana, were we learned african dance and drumming and helped out at a orpanage/school
student
The food was amazing and everything was so cheap. The people of Ghana were extremely happy and friendly. I especially loved the way the people were able to tell their strories through a dance.
I?m not a big fan of the mosquitoes hahah

New here...WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE FOR ME DO YOU THINK??? by Tal1776

Hey everybody...how's it going... my name is Tyler and I'm 27 and am currently located in Pennsylvania, Usa. I'm looking to get away from the over-production, "go go go" ideology of the good old usa... I don't mind work ...
