I am retired and would like to spend the winter months in the sun. I first thought of Togo, but after reading a few posts on this site, I think that ultimately I will go to Thailand or the Philippines next winter. I would like help finding suitable accommodation in a nice area, not too far from the sea. I would also like some information regarding the acquisition (and resale at the end of your stay) of a small car on site.
