Originally from the UK, but having spent most of my career working abroad (in Japan, Germany and Belgium in public administration, diplomacy, the EU and UN), I have moved to Morocco. I am based in Essaouira on the Atlantic coast, where I am setting up my own business. At present, I am offering management and marketing consultancy services to the tourism sector (www.maroc-o-phile.com). I am keen to share my love of travel with others and to generate interest among friends, family and contacts for Morocco in general and Essaouira in particular. As well as a platform on which to build my business, the website and accompanying Facebook page also serve as a resource of information on, articles about and photographs of Essaouira and other parts of Morocco.
