i am yolly from manila philippines working here in jeddah saudi arabia..i finished my contract feb 26 2013 and i have no plans of renewing it..i give the mnagement 3 mos notice as required before the contract ends but they keep onholding me until a new replacement arrived..i am still giving them time until the end of april..my iqama will expire april 12..my question is do they have the right to detain me if there is no replacement.? (they start hiring new one on the last month of my notice and they offered instead of increasing the amount they cut it..how will the applicant accept it..) What if there is no replacement until the end of april they will not let me go home..i really needed to go home and get my benefits even i am 4yrs only here in my company..my parents needed me badly.. i need your reply ..thanx..
