I know CHIANG MAI having lived there 10 years ago. My last trip was in October 2012. My wife and I would like to reside in CHIANG MAI for 3 to 6 months every year depending on double entry visa renewal. We are looking for a house to rent or a well furnished apartment. This, approximately from October 15 to April 15. Thank you for your suggestions.

Just enjoy the sweetness of Thai life, discover all the facets of this country and build bonds of sympathy and friendship with Thais.
I happily forgot it.
I liked 80% of what I saw and felt.
Having known Thailand more than 15 years ago and having lived there for more than 3 years, I deplore the negative evolution of mentalities and the virtual disappearance of the legendary Thai smile. Farangs have become ATMs on legs. This is less noticeable in the north of the country. This is certainly a global trend. Of course, there are exceptions and that forgives many things. There are charming Thais.
