About
Coming from a small town in India, I have successfully made my mark in International education especially British Curriculum i.e. IGCSE and A Levels. Though I have also taught IB programs for ITGS (IT) and Economic as a private tutor.
With my vast International experience in 3 different countries and 14+ years of teaching (10 years of IGCSE/A Levels/IB), I strongly feel I will do justice to the position applied.
I worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and then returned back to India for 14 months teaching MBA students IT and HR related programs. My next International assignment came from South-Central African country of MALAWI. I worked in Malawi from 2005 to 2009 and returned back to India to join a CIE affiliated school, for family reasons.
As it was probably destined I came back to Malawi in Jan 2011 and since then I am working here.
Apart from just teaching I was also the Examination Officer and this gave me more insights into how examination systems work. Today I know quite a lot about CIE, its programs and the methodology.
I developed the ICT departments in 3 different schools and also developed the curriculum across the school to be taught in various grades/classes. Interestingly, I also taught BST to my students and also offered tuitions to students from other schools for IGCSE/A Levels and IB.
Interestingly I have a diverse job profile including teaching, administration and procurement of furniture and ICT related stuff for school.
