Hello everyone I am French, established in Belgium for 12 years. A year and a half ago, I met my partner from Basel, and we have been going back and forth between the 2 countries ever since. Things progressing well, we decided that I would join him in a few months in Switzerland. I am not focused on a particular city, I think I favor the French-speaking cantons, but the canton of Friboug would be good too, my partner being German-speaking (and this canton is bilingual, if I'm not mistaken?) Here are the presentations. I am aware that it will not be easy, that it will take time. I have already experienced an expatriation, I know that successful integration takes hard work and is earned! My goal in registering on this forum is to get some advice from Swiss and expats. I do my own research on the internet for everything concerning formalities, but I would find it nice to also have good tips, and opinions on places to live, etc...
