My father and I started a project together in La Ceiba Honduras called Nature's Edge Development. We are currently in the pre-development stages. We are selling approx 1/4 & 1/2 acre ocean view and oceanfront lots. It will be a secure community with a pool and clubhouse. We are looking forward to retiring in Honduras soon. For more info go to www.HondurasOceanfrontLots.com or call us anytime at 321-368-9921 Cheers — Matt

I feel like kids/teenagers are to pre-occupied and have to many distractions technology wise. I feel people here are very materialist and many do not realize how blessed they are. The family units are not as strong as they could be. Sometimes I think living half the year in Honduras would be good for me. The politics in this country can be frustrating. But I do LOVE the USA! Things will get better.

Predominate language used in Roatan is English or Spanish? by murvisland

I would like to know if the predominate language used in Roatan is English or Spanish. I would like to live somewhere that the main language is Spanish. Thanks

mhawley

My wife and I have really been working on our Spanish. I think it would be a huge disadvantage to move there and not know at least some basic Spanish. That's great to hear they locals are learning English as well. Cheers Read More

buying resort property in Honduras by stefano c

I'm new to the site and wanted to get some feedback about buying resort property in Honduras. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge they could share?

mhawley
