I have started my seventeenth year as an expatriate in the Philippines. After several years spent traveling, I decided to put down my bags. Not so easy despite some experience of life abroad; West Indies, Central and West Africa, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, cultural difference I suppose With my Filipino wife and our children, we live about fifty kilometers from the capital, on the edge of Manila Bay and the China Sea. Breathtaking view of the bay, the Bataan peninsula and the island of Corregidor. Sea and ''mountains'', the Pico de Loro rises vertically from sea level to more than 700 meters above sea level and an almost virgin jungle in which some wild animals hide. Sun, beauty of the landscapes, warmth and kindness of the population, make these tropical islands real little paradises. In addition, the cost of living is very low, one of the lowest in the world, which doesn't spoil anything.
