I am from Qingdao(east if China);
I was born in 1973;
I studied marine engineering and now I am running a small company of my own. My business scope includes ship repair, ship supply and other offshore services.
I am planning to buy a house with a farm in Latvia as I am fed up with the bustle city life with all the crowd and traffic jams.

Does anybody have any recommendations on opening an account in LV? Is there any advantage of going with one bank over another? Branch locations etc? Is one bank known for English speaking staff more than another? Thanks! Alex.
I opened a bank account in Privat Bank in Riga. It is fine, convenient, simple entrance and did not ask too much unnecessary questions. I should not worry about language barrier in any bank in the world. Read More
