Moved from Virginia Beach, Va, USA to Shkoder, Albania. My wife is Albanian and has an abundance of cousins who have helped us tremendously in our relocation. I took an early retirement due to the low cost of living in Albania and the numerous family members for support. So far it has been great.

This is what I learned moving here. Keep your Greek plates until you are in the country. You cannot register a car in Albania unless you are a permanent resident. After you are here and you get your residency paperwork you can change the title. ... Read More
